Secure Your furniture for safety
We do highly encourage all customers that you securely attach your furniture to the wall to prevent furniture falling over and causing injury and in some cases tragically causing death.
Toppling over furniture can easily happen especially in tall pieces such as bookshelves , Chest of drawers and wardrobes.
Basically any piece over 1m is capable of tipping over with very little effort.
We are working close with our suppliers/ manufacturers on ensuring brackets can be supplied when necessary along with instructions so you can easily mount furniture securely to the wall. At this stage Brackets are now supplied in most kits and should be used to affix furniture pieces to the wall or a solid fixture in the room.
If brackets are not supplied we recommend you purchase them from the hardware or have a handyman do it for. You could visit the local hardware for advice or see online video tutorials on how to do it your self. Also when storing your items/ clothing on book shelves, cabinets, Wardrobes, drawers we highly advise you to evenly distribute the weight by having the heaviest items on the lower shelves or in the bottom drawers. Most importantly we ask you to securely affix furniture to the wall!
